Well we had/are having a wonderful weekend at the Fox house. Yesterday we had a get-together with great friends which also happened to be a surprise shower for Beth and Walter, as they are getting married next weekend. Beth is pretty much my oldest friend so it was a pleasure to be able to do something to celebrate her and her future husband.
Don't get me wrong, this party wasn't all cake and presents...it was mostly ACC tournament mixed with good food and company. Much of the day was spent watching basketball, catching up with folks we hadn't seen in a long time, and watching babies play.

We had such a good time that I'm already looking forward to the next time we can all get together! Next time I'm going to try not to make quite so many trips back to the food table. We are really blessed to have such amazing friends and to be able to pick up right where we left off, even if we haven't seen each other in months.
Today we plan to enjoy this beautiful weather and take a nice long walk, and later we are meeting our friends Jenny and Ryan (who are in town from Florida) in Raleigh for dinner...Oh, and I guess we'll be watching the Duke/Carolina game, too.
I really enjoy reading your blog when I get a chance! How exciting to be a part of it! The shower was a wonderful surprise. I'm so happy we can all still find time to get together. Love you!
